Hidalgo Romero

Hidalgo Romero graduated in Architecture and Urbanism at Unesp, and is taking the Master’s Degree in Multimedia at Unicamp. He did the “Roteiro de Cinema” [Cinema Script] workshop at Escola Internacional de Cine e TV of San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba in 2005. He is a member of Laboratório Cisco, where he works as a director and editor.

He is the director of TV series “Taquaras, tambores e violas” (season two in pre-production), and editor of series “Chão de Fábrica” and of long film “Esquerda em Transe”, both directed by Renato Tapajós. He directed and edited the short film “Acontecências” (2009), selected in several festivals, including the “International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam” and “É Tudo Verdade” in 2010, having received a honor mention in the 37a.Jornada da Bahia, in 2010; and directed four shows of Sala de Notícias between 2013 and 2016.
