The filmmaker, scriptwriter and writer Renato Tapajós directed over 30 films among short, medium and long films, and over 200 videos among cultural productions, training, didactic, didactic support and institutional videos.
He was awarded in international (Leipzig, Oberhausen and Havana) and national (Jornada de cinema e vídeo de Salvador) festivals. He releases in 1977 the romance Em Câmara Lenta, which was the first romance published about the armed fight in Brazil during the military dictatorship. He also published, through editora Ática, titles oriented to the children’s segment: Carapintada, A Infância Acabou, Queda Livre, Por um Pedaço de Terra and Rádio Muda. He recently directed the TV series “Chão de Fábrica” (2017) and currently works in the edition of his film “Esquerda em Transe”.
