Espasmos Urbanos [Urban Spasms] is born from the need of researching and reflecting on the hallucinating conditions to which the urban man is submitted, the effects and deformations on the emotional and visible body, as well as the revenge of that body against its tormentors, i.e., man himself and his distorted body. The hallucinating pace, the lack of contact among people, fear, solitude and at the same time, the anthropophagic will of feeling the other, the violence, the passions and the guilt. That daily routine is presented in 7 settings that involve the whole cast and, more than narrating a story, aim at elevating the spectacle to a sensorial experience.
