SHADOWS OVER THE CONTINENT

SYNOPSIS

In 2002, Venezuela suffered a coup d'état. In 2004, the president of Haiti resigned. Honduras had its president arrested in 2009. The president of Paraguay was impeached in 2012. In 2016, Brazil's president was removed from office.

What are the possible connections between these events? "Shadows Over the Continent" tells the story of authoritarianism in Latin America in the 21st century in the light of democratic debate and Lawfare.
