"Is Machismo curable? Fragile Masculinities in reg(p)resive times", by Karla Bessa, is a documentary about the close relationship between machismo, domestic violence and new masculinities. What are the masculinities we face? How does the re-education of senses and aesthetic perception feed the deconstruction of toxic masculinities? With interviews and audiovisual research, the narrative makes us go beyond common sense regarding power relations between men and women (cis and trans).
